"Πρωτόγονο καλέω, διφιή Μέγαν, αιθερόπλαγκτον"

 

A dance workshop that combines movement, speech and contact with the elements of nature. We work with simple experiential exercises that aim to strengthen and exercise the body, to release all the tensions of everyday life and to bring harmony and balance to body and mind.

We will combine speech with movement, inspired by the Orphic hymns about nature and all the deities and the primitive expression. Primitive dances are all the dances of societies that live in tribes, and therefore in Greek culture. They have common features such as e.g. the team, the Rhythm, the archetypal character etc ..

Nature guides us, inspires us and finally, heals us. The elements of nature become the symbols and tools that will release the essence of the soul to be captured in motion. For Heraclitus, fire was the primary essence of the universe, as for Thales water, etc. And their union becomes a strong nucleus, the inner part, our center of the circle ..
