Department of ancient Greek choir with complete training program that includes:

• Chorus songs from rescued ancient Greek scores

• Chorus songs from ancient Greek texts set to music and orchestrated based on the ancient Greek music theory

• Teaching ancient Greek music theory

• Acoustic and vocal exercises

• Two-voice choral exercises

•Teaching of reconstructed pronunciation of ancient speech

• Prosody and metric exercises

No previous experience in singing and music is required for participation. Ideal for professional actors.

The music group EUTERPE was formed with the main purpose of using the ancient Greek flute, which is why it took its name from the Muse of the flute art Euterpe. The instruments used are reconstructions of ancient Greek finds. The musical compositions are based on the ancient Greek texts and the ancient Greek music theory in combination with the sounds of our time.
